Why 159?
Crooked Mountain sits just off the Blue Ridge Parkway at Mile Marker 159.3, surrounded by some of the best riding Southwest Virginia has to offer.
So for 2027, we're building the rally around where we call home.
159 riders. Mile Marker 159. One hell of a weekend.
And the idea is pretty simple:
COME HERE TO RIDE, CAMP & EXPLORE.
We've put together more than 1,000 miles of routes starting right here at Crooked Mountain, with everything from pavement and mountain twisties to backroads and gravel.
And you don't have to go far to find adventure. Floyd County alone has more than 200 miles of gravel roads winding through the mountains, farmland, forests and hollows around us.
But riding here isn't just about finding the curviest road.
Explore the town of Floyd. Ride through communities tucked into these mountains for generations. Follow old roads once traveled by farmers, bootleggers and moonshiners. Discover old mills, country stores, overlooks, music, local food and pieces of Appalachian history you'd never find sticking to the highway.
Take the Blue Ridge Parkway for a while. Turn off onto a road you've never ridden. Grab one of our GPX routes. Join a group ride. Take on the trails and challenges at Crooked Mountain.
Or just pick a direction and
go explore.
Then come back to the mountain.
Hang out at Camp. Grab some food. Hang around the fire. Take a class. Swap stories about what you found that day and figure out where you're riding tomorrow.
Then wake up and do it again.
We're keeping the rally to 159 riders because we don't want the biggest rally.
We want a damn good one.
Enough riders to make it fun. Small enough that you actually get to know the people you're riding, eating and camping with.
This isn't a weekend for standing around looking at motorcycles.
It's a weekend for using them.

We're kicking things off with 59 Early Bird registrations for $159. Early Bird pricing begins October 19 and ends when all 59 are sold or on October 31 — whichever comes first.
REGULAR REGISTRATION BASE PRICE — $189
Once the Early Bird spots are gone — or beginning November 1 — Base Registration is $189.

Required if you're bringing a car, truck, van, truck camper, trailer, toy hauler or RV. Maximum length: 30 feet. (Bikes are small. Vehicles aren't. Space costs money)

THE STORE & FULL THROTTLE LOUNGE
The Crooked Mountain Store is rally headquarters. Check in when you arrive, grab your rally gear and use it as your home base throughout the weekend.
We'll have firewood, ice, snacks, drinks, souvenirs and other essentials available during the rally. The Full Throttle Lounge will be a place to grab some coffee, check routes, charge up and figure out where you're riding next.
ROUTES START HERE
Our Route Board is loaded with local riding information, recommendations and routes. Grab a GPX route, check out our Floyd on 2 Wheels maps, or pick a direction and explore.
Backroads. Gravel. Twisties. Blue Ridge Parkway. Pick your adventure.
WHEN THE RIDING STOPS
The bikes may get parked for the night, but the rally doesn't have to end.
Friday and Saturday evenings we'll kick back at Crooked Mountain with campfires, good food, music and time to hang out with the people you've been riding with all day.
Ride all day. Hang out all night. Do it again tomorrow.
CAMPING AT CROOKED MOUNTAIN
Your campsite is part of the rally. Motorcycle + tent camping is included with every Base Registration, so you can ride all day and come back to camp with everyone else at night.
Our main rally camping area gives you easy access to the store, showers, Full Throttle Lounge, riding areas and everything happening around Crooked Mountain.
Bringing a truck, van, trailer or RV? Just add Vehicle Camping when you register. Electric and a limited number of creekside/group camping options are also available but limited and go quick.

NORMAL RALLY SHENANIGANS
We don't believe in spending an adventure rally sitting around.
Throughout the weekend you'll find plenty happening around Crooked Mountain — rider classes, skills challenges, games, group rides and plenty of opportunities to test yourself and your bike.
Take a lap around the Cropfield 500, see how far you make it on Sasquatch's Revenge (a tight single track), jump into a class, take on a challenge, or grab a GPX route and disappear into the mountains for the day.
Some things will be scheduled. Some things will just happen.
Ride. Learn. Get dirty. Have fun. Repeat.

Coming from out of town? Skip the boring route when you can. Take the backroads or ride the Blue Ridge Parkway and make getting here part of the adventure.

RALLY Q&A
CAN I ARRIVE BEFORE THURSDAY?
Yes. Want to come in early and get a few extra days of riding? Early arrival camping is available Monday–Wednesday before the rally at our normal nightly camping rates. Contact us ahead of time to reserve your site.
Please note: Early-arrival campsites are separate from rally camping assignments. If you arrive early and stay in an electric, creekside or other reserved site, you may need to move to your rally camping area on Thursday if that site is reserved for another rally attendee.
WHAT KIND OF MOTORCYCLE DO I NEED?
Bring the bike you like to ride. This is an adventure rally, but Floyd offers everything from pavement and twisties to gravel, backroads and more challenging terrain. Choose routes and activities appropriate for your bike, experience and comfort level.
DO I HAVE TO CAMP?
No. Camping is included with Base Registration, but you're welcome to stay somewhere else. There are hotels, cabins, vacation rentals and other lodging options around Floyd. Ask us — we're happy to provide recommendations and help you find a place that fits what you're looking for. Your registration price is the same whether you camp with us or not.
CAN I BRING MY TRUCK, VAN, TRAILER OR RV?
Absolutely. Just select the Vehicle Camping +$40 add-on when you register. Maximum length is 30 feet. There are no water or sewer hookups and no dump station. Grey or black water may not be discharged anywhere on the property.
WHAT IF I'M RIDING TWO-UP?
Add the 2-Up Passenger +$99 option when registering. It covers your passenger's rally admission, camping with you, four meals, rally shirt, swag and rally activities.
IS ELECTRIC CAMPING AVAILABLE?
Yes, but there are only 5 electric spots. The Electric Camping +$60 add-on provides 30/20-amp electric service. There are no water or sewer hookups.
ARE MEALS INCLUDED?
Yes. Base Registration includes four home-cooked meals — breakfast and dinner Friday and Saturday. Thursday and Sunday meals are on your own, which gives you another excuse to get out and explore Floyd.
WHAT IF I HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Tell us when you register. We'll do our best to accommodate reasonable dietary needs, but we're feeding a rally rather than running a restaurant. If you have a serious allergy or specific concern, contact us before the rally.
ARE THERE GUIDED RIDES?
We'll have a GPX route library along with group/guided rides as available. Routes will cover different riding styles and difficulty levels. Final rides and schedules will be announced closer to the rally.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
It's an adventure rally in the mountains. Weather happens. Routes, riding areas, classes and activities may change when necessary for safety or property conditions. Bring appropriate gear and be ready to adapt — we'll be right there with you. It's all part of the adventure.
WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
Refunds requested 90 or more days before the rally will be issued less a $25 administrative fee. Requests 30–89 days before the rally will receive a 50% refund. Registrations are generally non-refundable within 30 days of the rally.
We understand emergencies happen and may consider a refund, credit or transfer for exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?
Yes. Every rider and passenger must sign the Crooked Mountain Participant Waiver & Release of Liability before participating in rally riding or activities.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring your motorcycle, riding gear, camping gear and whatever you normally need for a few days of riding in the mountains. Spring weather in Floyd can change quickly, so come prepared for warm, cold and wet conditions.
