Flower Season on the Farm
A Pick Your Own Flower Experience in Floyd, Virginia
Nestled in the mountains of Floyd, Virginia, Crooked Mountain’s seasonal Pick Your Own Flower Farm invites guests to slow down, explore the farm, and experience the beauty of Southwest Virginia in bloom. Open from July through September (bloom dates may vary), the flower fields come alive with colorful rows of sunflowers, zinnias, snapdragons, rudbeckia, and other seasonal blooms.
Guests are invited to purchase a container, then wander the fields and pick their heart out while creating a one-of-a-kind fresh-cut bouquet to take home. Looking for something ready to go? Ask us about our pre-made bouquets featuring flowers grown right here on the farm.
Flower season is one of the most peaceful and beautiful times to experience Crooked Mountain — especially during sunset in the fields surrounded by mountain views, fresh air, and the slower pace of life on the farm.
Whether you're crafting the perfect bouquet, taking photos among the blooms, or simply enjoying a relaxing afternoon outdoors, the flower fields offer a unique Southwest Virginia farm experience for all ages.
